This weekend, January 9-10, is the seventh annual Tele-Fest at Hoodoo, Oregon. Jarl from Berg's Ski Shop organizes this event and it has proven to be one of the best attended Telemark festival on the west coast.

This year Jarl has even added a Rando-Fest subheading as a nod to the growing randonee market, but the heart and soul of the Hoodoo fest is freeheel skiing.

There are demos available from everyone in the industry as well as lessons and races all weekend. The best part is that the event entry is simply the price of a lift ticket at the Hoodoo ski area ($42).
